a lot has happened

where to start?

I'll keep it brief...

1. Went to London to take part in a male burlesque competition - came second :) In for the next round. It took place in Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, which was so surreal it was fantastic. It's still WMC but also a Burlesque club (different floors). Kind of gives you hope...

2. Went to Manchester on a private bus for more burlesque stuff. Slept with a fifty-one year old. oops. heh heh heh.

3. Slept with a long-time friend. We slept together the first time we met, years ago, and then again recently. Why? It's hard to resist... she's great fun and I am very fond of her. When it was time to tell her she wasn't the one she was not angry (because I never said she would be) and we are now closer than ever. Thank you merciful god, I'd hate to loose her. On the other hand I fear that she's playing a long game... I really don't want to hurt her again. (It was a mutual thing that we slept together BTW)

4. Another reason to be grateful for an apparently happy ending to 3. is I met the french woman again. She makes me weak. especially the way she pronounces my name. She is beautiful and lonely and cuts through every filter I have. I told her about the George Bush cabaret and I think she was impressed (or at least intreaged). I promised her I'd email the details, and she got back!! woo woo! Unlike last time. It's her birthday on thursday and I'm going on the night out. I'd love to get to know her better, and a busy birthday night might not be the best but it's a start. I'm really curious about what she's really like. Could I keep up with her or will I fall by the wayside. My secret tactic is not to try and impress her with my artiness but annoy her with wierdness whilst luring her with the promise of wisdom and understanding. Right... Still, good news is not to be sniffed at. Roll on thursday.

Found out something about possible jobs with the forestry commission - a tangent I know but I'm not earning from webshites for ever (boring and unfulfilling). Some of the jobs require a shotgun license to even get an interview. cool. And environmentally noble of course

That's it for now.
